How many children should you have?

I woke up with Mark again this morning. I love having a family. In my wildest dreams though, this was not what I could have ever imagined.
We didn't even think of children...well, Mark always said No or Later and there were times when I said Never and Maybe Just One. But along came Ada and she changed my life for the better and I'd never wish things were different.
With this pregnancy, I feel so excited but sometimes can't help but wonder how it will effect Ada. I think she will be an excellent big sister and since she has more of her dad's personality anyway, she might just be as independent and comfortable venturing out on her own a lot.

I love being a mom and I love this life and family that god gave me!

Anyways, this is the article that I read this morning, kind of interesting, atleast to me.
It includes about six points of view of mothers with differing numbers of children and how they feel about their family.
One woman had a single child, twins and again twins! "I love having my children even though there are 12 hour periods where I do not sit down."

  1. I never knew how hard it was going to be to plan a family...how many children? How far apart should they be? Will they be happy with how thing worked out? Geez... I have never been so confused!! But, the great thing is these amazing little people come into your life and you just roll with whatever happens and find joy along the way. I don't think there is a "right" way to do it, you just try and figure out what works out best for you and your family...the rest becomes history:) Can't wait to meet the new little Judd!
